LEGISLATIVE BREAKFAST A SUCCESS

 

            On Sunday, October 8, 2006 the Nassau County Legislative Breakfast was held at the Williston Post #144 with over 230 in attendance. The breakfast of Juice, Ham, Eggs Potatoes, rolls and coffee and crumb cake was quickly served to all by Boy Scouts and the Williston Post Members and Auxiliary. 

            Twenty three bottles of cheer were donated for the raffle and 23 attendees went home in possession of some cheer. 

            The Master of ceremonies Pete Holowecki did his usual great job hosting the whole show. All the Legislators who attended were warmly received and a lot of questions were posed dealing with veterans matters and the high taxes for schools and homes, the Legislators responses received a warm welcome on future legislation pending.
